Nights out down South Parade and a pining for a Thursbay (IYKYK) created a teenhood in the town spent well. This was one of the first pieces we designed - we couldn’t not start with the Whitley Bay Est. 1901 Sweatshirt, because Whitley is where we started our lives. Designed in North Shields (because we emigrated far) and finished with high-quality embroidery, it’s soft, durable and made for everyday comfort.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe official history of Whitley Bay goes like this... the town got its name in 1901, after years of confusion with Whitby further down the coast.
